Anyway, today was a good day, I already completed all my homework...what a nice feeling!~ Tomorrow I will be assigned more theory homework and will complete my CI journals...blaaah, so much self-evaluation writing! >_< I'm not much of a writer, my handwriting is absolutely atrociously messy!

Scary.

Other than this, there's nothing at all new. Things have been slow, that's why I haven't written anything.

Ah, the halloween concert is coming up. We have to waltz and sing and be creepy and stuff for the leisure of others. Fun! I feel sorry for the people who are having their make up done by that one girl....who knows if it will feel very nice. I know stage make up is ICKY! XP

Jibun School.

So things started to pile up a little. I took some action and completed a few things, and now I feel fine!

Algebra test today...arrrgh, I'm not going to lie and say I did well, but I probably didn't completely fail. I just couldn't remember all those equations!!! ARRGH! I need to find a way to remember them like I did for theory.

Yes, there was the big theory midterm yesterday. I felt that I did ok, I felt like I knew all of the answers (except for maybe 1 or 2 of the vocab words.) but in that class, i feel like I'm doing well on a test but I get it back and it's not so good. I really concentrated, but you never know...waah. I felt good about it, so I'll stay positive for now.

Other than that, nothing else is really new. I got voted off of project poet last night, which isn't really a big deal because I didn't expect to win anyway. I'm just glad I made it to the third round! XD It's all good.

So today, I have some classes left, like choir and theory, but then I have to work on my composition essay and i have to learn a piano duet for TUESDAY!! ARRRRGH!
So it's going to be : at least.

Rainy Day Blues

It's raining......awfully.....dreadfully.

It's pouring! I've been drenched from the knees down ALL day. We had to wear 'nice' clothes for a choir performance, but that didn't really happen, considering the whole choir was soaked with rain from walking (trudging? splashing?) from Walton to the Library. Bah

So now I'm getting ready to go to lunch, but I'm thinking about the differences between the weather here and at home. I miss home a lot. I hate the weather here, God is out to make everyone in Arkansas either sick or tornado-fied. baaah. My feet are soaked, so I'm going to change my shoes. It would be useless to change my socks right now, I still have lunch and a class to travel back and forth to. Hopefully the rain will let up, even a little bit would be nice. I feel a little depressed and mostly tired. The weather suckkkkkssssss. Fight it all you want, it's useless.

So today it's really cold outside and rainy.

One thing I've learned about Arkansas...there is NO nice, calm autumn period. It's hot summer and BAM, very cold already. I want my fuzzy coat, but not right now.

I'm supposed to be the person from Illinois. Everyone is freezing and complaining, while I'm like, "This is normal, but I'm not used to it being cold so quickly."

Blah, and I have a football game tonight. I'm the only player who wears jeans because I slip and fall a lot and I don't want to hurt my legs. (Besides, I'm comfortable with running in jeans anyway, and I usually don't have time to change.)

Soooo, other than that, nothing is new. I still have to call my Grandma/Step Mom today. Shall now, actually. See you guys later! -me

So today, i have classes as usual....normal.

930-10 is breakfast time! XD
10-11, badmitton (PE)
11-12 is Critical Inquiry class.
12-1 is Choir rehearsal.
1-3 is homework time/lunch.
3-4 is piano practice.
4-5, there's art club.
5-6, select ensemble rehearsal.
6-7, i have Algebra SI class.
7pm, i HAVE to be at our football game (because 3 of our players aren't going to be there...)
and and 9:30, there's the ever nerve-wracking Project Poet.


all this, and my step mom comes to Arkansas today! She told me to call her, so if I'm not doing homework, I shall. ^_^

and now, i'm sitting on my binder, trying to solve world hunger, brushing my hair.

Ich hoffe, daß dieses verständlich ist.

Heute morgen wurde mein 8 Uhr Kategorie annulliert, weil Dr. Oatis krank ist. Ich glauben Schlechtem für sie, also ich werden eine Karte heute bilden und sie zu ihrer Bürotür feststecken.
Sowieso gerecht wollte haben einen schnellen Bericht von, was vor kurzem geschehen ist, da ich nicht an einigen Tagen bekanntgegeben habe.
Project Poet morgen... ist..oh Nr.! Ich muß noch mein Gedicht schreiben und es einreichen! Aaah!
Auch heute singt der Chor für Kapelle. Ich bin nicht auf der Zeit sicher, aber ich muß fragen Dr. Meyers, wenn es okay ist, daß ich Algebrakategorie früh gehe. Ich muß! (er war mit ihr letztes Mal okay, in der Erwägung es vorgeschrieben für Chor ist, an der Kapelle zu sein irgendwie.) Seine Frau spielt normalerweise Klavier für uns, also bin ich sicher, daß es nicht ein Problem heute ist.

So lassen Sie uns sehen, daß... ich Algebrakategorie in einer ungefähr Stunde habe. Heute morgen wachte ich sehr sofort auf! Es nahm eine Menge Self-discipline! Ich bin auf mich stolz, also frühstückte ich sehr nettes in der Cafeteria. (normalerweise gehe ich gerade innen dort für Getreide und ein Apfel oder etwas.)

Jeder, hilft es Ihrem Morgen SOOOO viel, um Frühstück zu essen. Sie glauben nicht halbes so müdes, wie Sie normalerweise wurden! ESSEN SIE FRÜHSTÜCK!!

So sowieso bin ich an der deutschen Sprache jetzt wirklich interessiert. Ich liebte Linguistik vor, aber jetzt bin ich interessiert, an, mehr über Deutschen zu erlernen. Wir singen *Abendlied* im Chor, also, warum man nicht erlernt, wie man die Wörter richtig ausspricht?

ja ja.

So gehe ich... tue etwas... blah!

This morning my 8 o'clock class was cancelled because Dr. Oatis is sick. I feel bad for her, so I'm going to make a card today and pin it to her office door.
Anyway, just wanted to have a quick review of what has happened recently, since I've not posted in a few days.
Project Poet is tomorrow....oh no! I still need to type my poem and submit it! Aaah!
Also, today the choir sings for chapel. I'm not sure on the time, but I have to ask Dr. Meyers if it's ok that I leave Algebra class early. I must! (He was ok with it last time, considering it is mandatory for choir to be at chapel anyway.) His wife usually plays piano for us, so I'm sure it won't be a problem today.

So, let's see...I have Algebra class in about an hour. This morning I woke up very promptly! It took a lot of self-discipline! I am proud of myself, so I had a very nice breakfast in the cafeteria. (Usually I just go in there for cereal and an apple or something.)

Everyone, it helps your morning SOOOO much to eat breakfast. You don't feel half as tired as you normally would! EAT BREAKFAST!!

So, anyway, I am really interested in the German language now. I loved linguistics before, but now I am interested in learning more about German. We're singing *Abendlied* in choir, so why not learn how to pronounce the words correctly?

Today I went to the animal shelter and worked with puppies and kitties, which was fun, but I am so very tired now. it's time for theory homework and practicing piano. goodnight, everyone!

Life and thoughts.

Life is about hope, and having faith in the things you love, the things that drive you, the things you accomplish and set goals to accomplish.
Life is about having faith that SOMEONE SOMEWHERE is looking out for you, that SOMEONE, no matter who they are, loves you and cares about what you think and feel.
If you don't have hope for tomorrow, what is the point of life? If you don't have faith in yourself, how can you have faith in others? or even an important cause?

I say this because I HAVE HOPE! I HAVE FAITH! I am determined to make something of my life, and to let SOMEONE know that they're loved, and that I care about what happens tomorrow.

My Dearest Oliver.

Our beloved cat, Oliver, had to be put down because of feline leukemia. Our other beloved cat, BooBoo, died of it, too...

I know its just a cat, but our cats are like parts of our family back home. I wanted to be around to say goodbye, and to also comfort my sister, who loves those cats like children, but I'm not around anymore.


So, Ollie, this is for you. Rest in peace.

In other news (shuffles papers)tonight there is Round 2 of Project Poet. I'm a lot happier about this week's entry. It's a little more lighthearted, but still directs attention towards a global issue. (hunger and poverty for children.)

I Believe in Yesterday.

So, last night Anna and I purchased FOOD! REAL FOOD!!! And a swiffer thingie!

so then......we cleaned! Our room is almost spotless, the floor is amazing, and I am so very happy! Now I have to wash my sheets and bedding and stuff.

Aaaah i get to go to the Asian Market today!!!! time to spend more money on food, glorious food! I am so very excited. We bought healthy food yesterday (apple sauce, wheat crackers, strawberries, grapes, plums, necarines, etc.) so now I want to buy koala cookies and cakes and just a lot of delicious things!
